There is a quote that says, “Life is about finding the people who are your kind of crazy”.  When I thought about writing this post, I had to laugh..because we are all unique and often appear crazy to those who look at the world differently than than we do…I am sure that the Oriental Rug shies away from having anything to do with that patchwork tapestry made of recycled fabrics…but they are both fascinating and useful..each in their own unique style…as are human beings.

So I sat down to write about my own particular brand of eccentric and eclectic personal characteristics..

I was a bit of a rebel from the beginning..anxious to greet the world and start my explorations..I breathed my first breath, over a month early.. on a very bitter cold January in a small, one-stop rural Wisconsin town..the first born of a family of six children.

The canvas that I was born with ..An Aquarius..even though I don’t give credence to Astrological signs..yet some the characteristics that are assigned to an Aquarian hit pretty close to home..independent, crave intellectual stimulation..I embrace learning/experiencing the new in any way possible (and believe me, that can get a lady in trouble)…boredom is really a four-letter word in my vocabulary…

I think way too much..or so I have been told..HATE injustice..Aquarian’s are said to be humanitarians..we care for people..sometimes..or my case, many times, to our own detriment.   I am a very good listener..because I deeply are about helping others..

Mix in the INFJ personality..which supposedly is only 10% of the world female population..and being an HSP (Highly Sensitive Person)..quite a concoction..I think God must have been experimenting on the day He created me…Image result for free concoction image..although I think He did a knock up job…

Woven upon that canvas are the threads of growing up economically challenged or just plain “poor” as most people would say..my family moving several states to become a part of a religious cult for most of my formative years..being in an abusive relationship for the next 18 years…

Yet, interwoven about those dark hues..there were wonderful colors of delightful adventures..two awesome children..travels to places of exotic nature..living in Thailand and Alaska..traveling to Columbia and Venezuela..being a Photographic Artist and Owner of my own small business..Graduating with a Degree and more..and experiencing the art and expression of Ballroom Dancing (pssst..it is my Passion)..

This is a broad brushstroke of my canvas..more to unfold and be revealed..as I unroll my tapestry for you to view..

As I look back at the entire tapestry of my life, I can see from the perspective of the present moment that every aspect of my life was necessary and perfect. Each step eventually led to a higher place, even though these steps often felt like obstacles or painful experiences. ~Wayne Dyer

Remember always..You are loved deeply..forever and always

  1. Love the personal introduction – it’s up-beat and real and punchy, you’re a writer already, and I’m still and always will be Fan # uno.
A page about the octopus would be a hit – maybe think about that as a path off the beaten track.
