Day 31…A Morning Walk

There is no comparable exhileration in the escape from the humdrum of life than by an early morning walk…I don’t normally “do” this early of a morning…but I was tired of my walking in front of a computer screen…especially when it is 2 or 3 miler…

Last night…I persuaded Mr. P that we should get up early and enjoy the fresh air…although honestly…I didn’t have to twist his arm at all…he enjoys this longer walk after a busy week…and he’s the morning person…

…Past Farm Roads

…and Dusty dirt Roads…and home again.

I was able to get almost 7,000 steps without being bored…lost in just the exilaration of the cool misty touch of the air to my body and the sensual morning sun kissing my face and whispering sweet nothings…and Mr. P’s loving quiet presence…

…and for his patience…while I dillied and dallied taking pictures…I made him his first chocolate chip pancakes…he LOVES his chocolate…

…and no…I abstained…just eggs, tomato, and avocado for me…not too much of a test for me…I so much rather not feel irritable and tired because I ate something with a lot of carbs…and it is usually a very slippery slope…once I start with the sugar…Mr. P is so lucky…well then…he does have me making him chocolate chip pancakes on a Saturday Morning…

…now this evening we are off to the first visit to his brother and sister-in-law…wish me luck…we thought it might be time…after 30 days…they might be imagining me as a 3-headed monster from the land of Donald Trump…
