The Why
There have been days when I’ve felt overwhelmed—days when hope seemed like a distant dream, and I struggled to find meaning in the chaos of life. On those days, I found myself drawn to nature. Something remarkable happens when I step outside: I’m reminded that even in life’s toughest moments, beauty surrounds us.
Walking in nature, I’m captivated by the Creator’s intricate design. I pause to notice the smallest of flowers, their petals delicate yet resilient. I watch reeds dancing gracefully in the wind, their rhythm a quiet reminder of life’s gentle flow. Vibrant, colorful birds flit through the air, a testament to the joy and creativity infused into creation. These moments pull me out of my despair, grounding me in gratitude and awe.
It’s in these moments that I feel the presence of God, a whisper of assurance that I’m not alone. The flowers, the reeds, and the birds—they exist simply for beauty and enjoyment, cared for without striving. They remind me that if God watches over these small wonders, He is surely watching over us too. This fills me with a deep sense of peace and gratitude, reminding me that hope is always within reach.
