So much has transpired the last two weeks that it will take another two weeks to write it all down…

I tried writing about a week ago and it wasn’t the right time or at least the universe didn’t think so…I had written a complete piece about seeing the Southern Cross for the first time and it wouldn’t save…

I hadn’t quite gotten my bearings yet and gave up out of total frustration…another week has given me a little better grounding into this totally new life…although there is still a long ways and many months to go before my roots will grow into the depth of this new home…South Africa…

Last Sunday…as the picture suggests…was a dream expressing itself in reality…a warm sunny Sunday afternoon barefoot walk in the wet sand with the waves playing tag with your toes…and the cherry on the top… cavorting with Mr. P.

Mr. P. had taken the first days of my arrival off from work…it was needed to become reaquainted again after our 5 months of separation…after our initial meeting…over a year and a half of writing, texting and almost nightly voice memos…10 days of being togather…and here we are…

And the adventure has begun…as like any life experience…there has already been tears and smiles…groans and grins…no regrets…only breathless anticipation for the upcoming days and all they will bring…

This is dedicated to the very patient Mr. P….thank you for loving me through all the emos that I have and will go through in this new adventure… as I settle into this wonderful life with you….
